Next week on June 4, 2026, the Briscoe Western Art Museum opens a new exhibit called Selena Forever | Siempre Selena, honoring the life, talent, and lasting legacy of Selena. The exhibit will feature monumental photographs by San Antonio photographer John Dyer. Museum officials say it offers one of the most complete collections of large-scale Selena portraits ever shown, alongside rare and never-before-seen photographs. The exhibit will run through January 4, 2027
The museum will also launch its summer film series, "Siempre Tejano," beginning in June. Screenings will include "Selena Y Los DInos," the 1997 film "Selena: The Movie," and "Take It Away: The Rise and Fall of Tejano Hollywood."
All screenings are included with general admission and will be held on select Sundays from June through August.
